Following the ICM Tennis Academy Annual Player Assessment & Selection, your child has been selected as one of only 8 players invited to enter the ICM Competitive Player Development Pathway.
Our coaching team considers development potential, technical foundation, movement, effort, attitude, coachability, competitive readiness and commitment. Selection is an opportunity to enter a more structured and demanding development environment.

A progressive player-development pathway designed to support growth over approximately 8–10 years, depending on starting age, individual development and readiness.

Regular training, Academy training and the Player Development / Technique Lab work together as one connected competitive development system.
Regular on-court training
Your child’s existing weekly ICM class continues under the current monthly membership and remains an essential part of consistent technical development and repetition.
Selected Player Academy Training
One additional structured on-court session each week, emphasizing technical application, tactics, movement, patterns, point construction, pressure situations and match play.
Player Development / Technique Lab
One guided weekly development touchpoint. Priorities may include video analysis, shadow technique, footwork, movement, technical rehearsal, visualization, focus, Game IQ and match learning.
Progress & accountability
Formal review every six months
Every six months, each player completes a formal Academy review and re-assessment. Academy placement is reviewed at this point, and continuation is not automatic.

Continuation is earned.
Players who demonstrate the expected level of development, effort, discipline, coachability and commitment may be invited to continue into the next development cycle. Placement in one cycle does not automatically guarantee placement in the next.
The review looks beyond match results. We evaluate what has developed, what is becoming reliable, what changes under pressure and each player’s next development priorities.
Readiness determines the next step.
Enrollment & investment
First six-month development cycle
CAD $1,999+ HST
Payable in two quarterly installments.
Payment 1 • Upon enrollment
$999.50 + HST
Due upon enrollment, no later than October 1.
Payment 2 • Automatic payment
$999.50 + HST
Automatically charged January 1.
Regular membership continues separately.
Your child’s existing regular weekly ICM Tennis class is not included in the Academy Development Fee. The current monthly ICM membership continues separately.
12-month minimum commitment
Because only 8 positions are offered through the annual selection process, enrollment requires a minimum 12-month commitment. Each selected position is reserved specifically for that player.
Missed sessions or voluntary non-attendance do not reduce, suspend or create a credit against program fees.
Quarterly billing continues every three months during the initial 12-month commitment, subject to continued Academy placement following the formal six-month review. After the initial 12 months, withdrawal may be requested in accordance with ICM Tennis Academy’s applicable withdrawal terms.
Each six-month cycle is a formal development and review period within the long-term pathway.

ICM Tennis Academy provides a long-term development environment. Our objective is to assess, train, monitor, challenge and review each player with clear development priorities over time.

ICM Tennis Academy does not guarantee rankings, championships, scholarships or professional careers. We provide the structure, coaching, standards and development environment. Player progress depends on consistent training, effort, readiness and long-term commitment.
